Google has now made it easier for both Enterprise and Education customers to move to its new system as it recently announced that it has incorporated a new self service email integration tool to Google Apps. This is Google’s web-based office platform.   The Central Piedmont Community College in North Carolina, was the first institution to actually test the service by migrating their old mail from their IMAP servers to Google over the span of three weeks. The college has over 30,000 email users.

One of the best abilities of having to transfer email to Google Apps is that it will allow for faster and easier searching. This is a problem for email that is archived in more traditional methods.
