It looks like there’s more trouble at Barbie’s home Mattel. After a double trouble summer with two large product recalls, Mattel will be announcing their third mass scale product recall due to quality concerns on products manufactured in China. The situation is getting to be a bit scary. But I did learn one lesson out of this whole thing and that is that while the larger corporations and brand name toys are not immune to defects – at least they do something about it. I am now more concerned than ever to buy a cheap no name toy since who knows how many defects are out there that aren’t being recalled?
