Steve Jobs finally gave a statement last September 18 regarding their official stand on iPhone unlocks. According to Steve Jobs Apple will be working aggressively against the SIM unlocks and is quoted to have said that “"It's a constant cat and mouse game. We try to stay ahead. People will try to break in, and it's our job to stop them breaking in." Although Jobs didn't mention the exact steps Apple is currently taking to stop the surge of unlocked iPhones many speculate that the results of their effort will be apparent during the release of the next software update and warns those with unlocked iPhones about downloading the upcoming update lest it result in an unusable phone.
