Blogs and memes are both two separate phenomena that have taken the internet by storm. Put the two together and what you have is a super phenomenon – if there is such a thing. Technically a meme is cultural unit, whether a certain behaviour or value, that is passed from generation to generation. In the context of blogging, the term meme is used more loosely and refers to a list of questions or a simple topic that people answer and pass on for other people to answer as well.

 

There are daily memes, weekly memes, monthly memes, and one-time memes. With the fusion of memes and blogging the potential for expanding a person’s social network has become almost unlimited as shown by the unbelievable number of memes circulating in the internet and an even more unbelievable number of people joining memes.
