TV Links No More

One of the world's most popular TV and movie websites has been closed down due to illegal versions of big-name movies. The UK site which have become popular worldwide (tv-links.co.uk) enabled users from around the world to watch almost any TV show or movie online right on their computer. In many cases shows would appear online almost immedietly after they aired in the U.S.

But while the TV show section of the site is probably what made it so popular it seems the straw that broke the camel’s back and got authorities to crack down on the site and its owner was the availability of bootleg versions of Hollywood blockbusters that were taped in theaters with a camcorder.
