Stage6 to Follow T.V Links?

I wrote earlier about TV links being shut down but it is beginning to look like part of a bigger move across the internet. It may be a coincidence but many people have begun to realize a sharp drop in the number of files and the availability of various TV shows on Stage6 which was one of TV Links' biggest sources of media. This also comes just days after Google announced a “revolutionary” filtering system which should drastically reduce the amount of copyrighted content on Google owned You Tube. While Google's move is  volentary, I'm not sure many of its less legitimate competitors will follow suite. A broader move to enforce copyright law online could put an end to their businesses.

 

Coincidence? I for one hope so.
