Does my PC have a Virus?

Some generally-accepted and easily-recognizable symptoms would include a marked slowing down of the PC, files being automatically uploaded into your computer without your approval, and your PC rebooting in the middle of an operation or a running task.  However, these are not conclusive proofs that you do have a virus in your PC, much less determine the source of the virus.

 

If you have an antivirus program, it should automatically scan your files each time you start your computer.  To check for virus, check in your System Configuration Utility, or Msconfig.  If your antivirus program, the Msconfig, the Windows Registry editor don’t load, there is definitely a virus in your PC system.
