Much Ado about Nothing - Yet

Faster and better Wifi equipments are consecutively being rolled out with the latest being touted as at least 5 times the speed and 15 times the range than its earlier version. This should mean that a signal from just one transmitter could reach every part of the house and fill them up with data when required.

The newer versions are admittedly better although the figures as to the speed and range may be exaggerated. However, the advantage may be dampened by several factors such as the need to purchase additional costly gear and the apparently unchanged Internet speed. There is no doubt that these disadvantages will be overcome in the future but we may have to wait for a while.
