Mazda's New Gem

Mazda has recently unveiled a small gem in the Geneva Car show. Designed to be shorter by 2 feet from the compact Mazda 3, the 2 is surprisingly roomy thanks in part to the long wheelbase which maximizes leg room and interior space. The wheels are also moved to the outer edges of the body which creates a little more room for some baggage space. Powered by a 1.3 liter gas engine, the Mazda 2 turns out up to 82 horsepower, while the 1.5 liter variant goes just beyond the 100 horsepower mark. If small cars are your vehicle of choice, then definitely the Mazda 2 is something that will linger in your thoughts once you see one on the street. It has the looks. It also has adequate power. And with the current price of gas, who needs a big car now?
