The Beauty of Technology

Modern technology has supplied us with some very beautiful gadgets in the eye of a true gadget lover. Nobody will dispute the beauty of an IPod or a nice Ferrari for that matter. A lot of the appeal of the new electronic devices out there is the external appearance. However, one particular item that stands out in my mind when thinking of beautiful electronics is the Plasma and LCD HDTVs.

HDTVs are not only beautiful on the outside but the picture they provide us with is truly astounding. TVs have been transformed from a machine that enables you to watch programs to literally a piece of furniture which makes your house that much nicer. I know that upon entering a house with a 50 inch Plasma on the wall, my eyes are automatically drawn to it.

Watching a movie in HDTV and watching on a regular TV are totally different experiences. Comparing the two would be like comparing Britney Spears to Pavarotti. Yes, they are both performers and they both use their vocal cords to entertain but come on!
