Google has realized this and that is why they have come up with Friend Connect, which is a program that will soon be able to be added to any site and transform it into a social networking site by adding a feature that allows the site’s users to chat with each other. Applications will also be able to be added to the sites. This new program is being tried out on a number of different sites and will be available for all sites once there has been enough positive feedback from the trial sites.
