Some things stick and some just don’t. Many inventions and ideas have made their way all around the world from Japan, but the wallet phone still has not made its mark in most of the world, despite Japan’s attempts. It is a great idea if you think about it and it has been talked about over and over again. Since 2004 Japanese people can use their cell phone to instantly pay for the train, a can of soda, or something at a store without having to use cash. That is the idea behind the wallet phone. With the help of a tiny chip inside the phone, the phone goes from being a means of speaking to a means of paying.
