The World of Wireless Power

Little by little our world is becoming wireless. There are no more wires on most microphones, cell phone earpieces, mice, keyboards, and even headphones. Now, devices such as laptops will be able to be charged through wireless power. This means no more hooking it up to the nearest outlet to fill up its battery. We are not far away from achieving this futuristic-sounding goal. This technology can also be used for more important tasks such as powering pacemakers and artificial hearts.
